Clover RPG races: perks, roll chances and the best pick
Clover RPG has seven races. Human is about half of all rolls and ranks last. Lesser Demon and Dark Elf are S tier, Lesser Angel is A. Two wikis disagree on the odds of Human, Demon and Angel, so this page shows both numbers and tags each row by how sure we are.

How to choose from the Clover RPG races

Create your character and take the race you get. Race is rolled when you start. Human is the most common result at roughly half of all rolls.

Read the perk, not just the stats. Lesser Demon and Lesser Angel stand out through their passives (Wrath Unbound and Divine Retribution), not their flat stat bonuses.

Compare with the tier list. S tier races are Lesser Demon and Dark Elf. A is Lesser Angel. A C or D result is the one to consider rerolling.

Price the reroll. A race reroll can be bought from the main menu (untradeable, price not listed) or in game, reported at 325 Essence and tradeable. The Gladiator may also drop one.

Remember that a wipe does not change race. Unlike magic, wiping your character does not reset your race, so only a reroll item changes it.

How race rerolls work
The main menu sells an untradeable Race Reroll, and the price is not listed in any source we read. The in-game offer is tradeable, costs more and is reported at 325 Essence without confirmation. A player trade or an NPC merchant may also sell one, and the Gladiator boss drops one rarely. None of this has been verified in game by this site, so confirm the price in the shop before you buy.

What is the best race in Clover RPG?+
Lesser Demon and Dark Elf share S tier. Lesser Demon is the strongest for melee thanks to Wrath Unbound, which stacks up to +25% physical damage. Dark Elf is the practical pick for spell builds at a 10% roll chance.
What are the race roll chances?+
Human 50–52%, Elf 20%, Dark Elf 10%, Eldritch 10%, Dryad 6%, and Lesser Demon and Lesser Angel 1–2% each. Two wikis disagree on Human, Demon and Angel, so we show both values.
Does a wipe reset my race?+
No. Only a race reroll changes it. Magic is different: a wipe followed by reaching level 15 again gives a new magic.
Is there an Archangel race?+
An Archangel entry appears in the data at a 0% roll chance, so it cannot currently be obtained.
